Getting it all out in the open
I told Kyra the other day to clean up her room, as she had made a large mess during 'rest time' that day. She responded, "But Mommy, I like having everything in the floor. It's all out where I can see it and I can find everything I need!" Not a bad trail of logic, and I kind of have the same sentiment at times, but she still had to clean up.

Steven used to (and probably still does) say the exact same thing! If I picked up his clothes and put them away he was so mad because then he "couldn't find anything!"
