We're Deeply Ethni-gious
On the way to a friend's house this evening, we drove by the Catholic church, and Kyra made the comment, "There's Matthew's church...he's Catholic...and we're Caucasian." When I started laughing, Kyra asked, "What? That's the box you always check!"
First Day of School!
When I asked Siana how her first day of school was, she replied, "Great!!! I never had fun before!!!" Well, I'm glad she had the first fun of her life... =)

If you think I'm beautiful, you should see my aunt!
I got a bit of a reality check from my sweet Kyra while walking through Wal-Mart. She pointed out a baby shirt and said, "Look Mom...it says If you think I'm beautiful, you should see my Mommy," then smiled sweetly at me. I was thisclose to saying "Aw, thanks, Sweetie..." when she continued with, "Maybe we should get that for Katelyn!" (Her cousin) HA! Ah yes, little ego deflation there, but it's good to be kept in line every now and again. lol So there you go, Aunt Melissa, this one's for you! =)

The Cast Hand
Even though Siana's cast has been gone for some time now, I think her left hand may forever be known as "The Cast Hand." When all 4 of us are crossing the street, she'll grab my hand as well as Steven's, and whoever is on the left will be informed with great excitement that they "get to hold the cast hand!" It's certainly always a treat to hold her sweet little hand, cast hand or not.
